CONTEXT
Life360 is a family safety app with tens of millions of users. I was there through the run-up to the company's IPO, the largest US tech listing on the Australian exchange at the time.
ROLE
Two years as the brand designer on the marketing team, I worked with the VP of Marketing, the VP of design and in collaboration with our email and social leads. I worked on the website, brand refresh, social, paid ads, presentations, and motion, which meant I was the designer in the room for most of what went out the door.
STRATEGY
At that pace, the constraint isn't taste, it's throughput. The refresh had to serve a marketing team shipping constantly, so I built it around the surfaces that ran hottest: email templates our email lead could send without me, ad formats that could be iterated on daily, and in-app visuals that matched the site. Motion carried the tone, turning a product about tracking your family into one that felt like care instead of surveillance.
IMPACT
The brand held through the busiest stretch in company history: an IPO, a climb past 27 million monthly active users, and a paid program scaling behind it. Ads, email, web, and in-app stayed recognizably one brand at a volume that would normally fracture it, and the system kept working long after any single campaign ended.
